Located on Queen Street West in the heart of Toronto’s entertainment district, Manic Recording Studios was founded in early 2021 by Toronto-based audio engineer & record producer Matthew “Matt” Stevens. The studio is a creative hub for all artists, bands, producers, engineers and voice actors alike.

We provide recording, mixing and mastering services. Room rentals are also available. Clients can bring their devices and plug & play right into our R.A.M 1000 Monitor Controller via XLR, TRS or Bluetooth.

The control room was acoustically designed & treated by Daniel Lacucci, founder of Sound Headquarters. The room is fitted with custom bass traps, ROCKWOOL panels and cloud panels above the mix position. Our vocal booth is the MDL 4896 S, built by industry-leading sound isolation company WhisperRoom®. The dimensions of the control are ideal for a naturally balanced, open and full sound. This ensures the audio will always translate accurately between various playback systems.

  The equipment selection includes top-of-the line hardware from microphones to outboard gear to monitor selection. Everything was hand picked through years of trial and error and is truly of the highest quality in the industry.
